Why we built MineHire.com
Several years ago, the creators of MineHire.com were frustrated. We were frustrated that job seekers in the mining industry had to pay monthly fees just to apply for jobs on some of the most popular job boards in the mining industry, and we were frustrated at the cost of posting our jobs.
was expensive.
And the competition was charging prospects to respond to our advertisements! We saw the need, and our solution was MineHire.com. We created a global mining jobs portal with the following goals:
1. Affordable visibility. a place where mining employers from all over the world could easily and affordably advertise their open mining jobs, no matter where they are.
2. Charge candidates to apply? Nah, we said no to charging the job seeker. We wanted to avoid "affordable invisibility." Our site was going to be free to candidates.
3. Easy to use. We wanted the site to be clean and simple to use, even for the computer novice.
